I purchased these "twins" together a few years back, and have used them less than two hours total - on a dry sand beach, and in my yard. I just can't get the hang of tone only machines.
Both come with hardwired headphones, stock 8" coil, and coil cover.
Neither shows any signs of flooding. There's no rust on or damage to any of the internal components.
In the interest of full disclosure: The coil on the Sand Shark has yellowed, and the paint on the lower inside edge of the Tiger Shark appears to have flaked off. Both conditions existed when I bought the detectors from the previous owner, and he stated that both had received a clean bill of health from Tesoro just prior to the sale.
Each detector works properly, and responds to air tests accordingly.
I'm looking for an MX Sport to round out my White's collection. I prefer a trade that includes the White's waterproof headphones, but will consider one that doesn't.
