475.00 USD Tesoro Sandshark Pulse Induction Waterproof Detector 8" Coil - Purchased in July Santa Cruz

I purchased a Tesoro Sandshark in July of this year and used it for approximately 25 hours. Ironically, I used the detector primarily in wet sand, and only used it in the ocean for a few hours. The detector is very lightly used, has no damage, and works flawlessly. I have only replaced the batteries once in this machine.

I don't want to sell this machine , but my land machine, a Minelab, is dying, and I need the money to purchase a replacement. With Winter coming, this is a sacrifice I am willing to make.

This is a great machine; very easy to use, very easy to learn, very accurate when pinpointing, light, and well built. It hits hard on all metals, so you can be guaranteed not to miss anything. it is waterproof to 200 feet. Furthermore, Tesoro has the best customer service in the industry! If ever you had an issue, they can take care of you (not like Minelab, that refuses to work on $1200 machines because they are out of production).

You need to know that this is an "all metal" detector. it cannot discriminate. That doesn't mean that you can't discriminate, you just have to learn what the targets sound like! Trust me, the Sandshark speaks an easy to learn language. You can identify what's good and what's bad by the pitch, length, and "feel" of the target underfoot.

The machine comes in its original box with original documentation. I always washed the detector after contact with salt water. I always ran the machine with the cables secured. The warranty card has been submitted, but if you EVER have a problem, contact me and I will work with you and Tesoro to get it repaired under Tesoro's lifetime service plan.

Including in the photos are just some of the things I found between July and October 2015. The photograph doesn't include over $35 in clad! Furthermore, I live in NORTHERN CA, where no one swims at the beach. IF you're on the Gulf of Mexico or any where warm, your detector will pay for itself in a weekend!
